I think the RNG of this needs reworking, as I got the same item/items like 5-6 in a row. Or maybe something like a static mode option, that if you have gotten/found what the stolen item is, it will never gone missing again.
Still, I had fun on the game.
The second option, while it makes sense, would make the game very easier with time, knowing some itens will never leave again. We are brainstorming ways to make the experience less frustrating, especially the RNG, without messing much with the idea of the game, and maybe something to keep the player engaged even if finding the samey items. Thanks for the feedback!
I guess one other thing you can add, maybe you can replay the ending cutscene of each item in the gallery, like maybe a replay button on the side of the images instead. I think one thing you can do instead, if you still want randomness, if the same item appeared 2-3 times in a row, next one should be guaranteed an item you haven’t checked off a list. It’s something at least to prevent same item you got like 3 times in a row, then just leads to another same item you already have found and happened for like 2-4 times in a row, and then still the same item you have found which happened for like 3 times in a row. I’m not gonna kid on this, this happened like a number of times. While I found all 20, It took like an hour.
Those are really good ideas, actually. We'll try out some of these when we find some time. Thanks for the input! :)
I clicked on the wrong item, its confusing when you only have ten seconds to figure out what item to click on.
It can be difficult at first, but it gets easier
